About this role

About the Role Autoliv Queretaro Technical Center is seeking an Information and Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security incident and event monitoring and drive incident response. The role collaborates with IT and business users to investigate threats, perform forensics, and ensure robust cyber security documentation to keep systems and data safe.

What You'll Do

  • The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for security incident and event monitoring.
  • This will include follow ups (forensic activities and clearing up of threats) with other IT departments and/or users.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and investigation of alerts generated via SIEM, IDS/IPS and other related security data sources.
  • Provide incident response.
  • Monitor and respond to phishing and pharming activity.
  • Ensure the accuracy and correctness of the cyber security documentation.
  • Troubleshoot service interruptions caused by cyber security tools.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related.
  • Experience in Information Technology and Incident Response.
  • Advanced English.
