About the Role
The Informaticist will facilitate informatics processes through the effective use of healthcare technologies, ensuring that systems support clinical practice, optimize workflow, and provide decision support. This role collaborates across departments to ensure proper integration of systems and workflows in the clinical environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead planning, design and implementation teams for applications to ensure data capture and workflow meet staff needs and promote adoption.
- Provide training and ongoing support for physicians and advanced practice providers on the EMR and related software.
- Assist with physician access and connectivity to Eisenhower Health's systems and applications.
- Collaborate with Ambulatory, Inpatient and Clinical Informatics on system implementation, process redesign, workflow optimization and system upgrades.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of Eisenhower Health's EMR and related software, updating knowledge as upgrades occur.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Degree in a healthcare discipline (e.g., medicine, nursing, informatics) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Master's degree in Health Informatics.
- Licensure/Certification: Preferred: MA, EMT, LVN, RT, Therapist (OT, ST, PT), Surgical Tech, or any healthcare license or certification.
- Experience: Required: Five (5) years in a medical health field; experience supporting operations in an electronic healthcare environment or equivalent combination.
- Skills/Abilities: Ability to coordinate multiple projects, identify/solve complex problems, prioritize work, excellent organizational and time management skills, experience with EMR documentation systems and MS Office, knowledge of related protocols, hardware documentation and systems applications, and strong written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Health Informatics (preferred)
- Epic implementation experience (preferred)
- Additional healthcare licenses or certifications (preferred)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $33.73 - $51.24 per hour. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week remote role. No additional benefits are listed in the posted information.
