About the Role Join Alstom as an Industrialisation Engineer in our Tramway and TGV product development teams. You will support the Industrial Lots Leaders in defining the product and challenging design and industrialisation options to improve manufacturability, while achieving cost, lead-time, and quality targets throughout development and early production. What You'll Do
- Assist the Industrial Lots Leaders in directing product definition to improve manufacturability and meet cost, lead-time, and quality targets.
- Participate in reviews of development definitions when required.
- Calculate method times for the proposed solutions.
- Create manufacturing dossiers: generate manufacturing routings, work instructions, NC programs off-machine, detailed inspection instructions, associated sketches, all in accordance with EHS standards.
- Draft tooling requests and machining programs, ensure their availability at workstations, and validate with manufacturing.
- Set up product and process trials until manufacturing dossiers are validated; support initial production and internal FAI; manage actions under responsibility.
- Industrialize modifications from the design office; update manufacturing dossiers and implement changes.
- Provide technical support during serial production; assist with non-conformance analysis; manage degraded processes in assembly repairs; update task triggers according to cadence changes.
- Support continuous improvement in production via SWIP or workstation studies; propose and monitor process improvements and design evolutions; industrialize product changes; modify and maintain up-to-date manufacturing dossiers; accompany initial productions and validate proper implementation; escalate application priority as needed. What We're Looking For
- A Master’s degree (Bac+5) in engineering (Master Professionnel, Engineer, University or equivalent).
- First successful experience in industrialisation in a technical sector (mechanical, electronics, automation).
- Strong communication, active listening, teamwork, and resilience.
