Job title: Industrial Quality Engineer
About the Role Join Alstom as a full-time Industrial Quality Engineer based in Grorud, Oslo. You will cover quality activities for the NO5/NO6 depot projects, manage the on-site quality team, and ensure the implementation of site quality processes. You’ll also handle customer quality relationships and non-conformities, and support handover activities from the manufacturing site to the PI site.
What You'll Do
- Support the inspection and delivery of new trains to customers with quality-related fleet checks.
- Drive improvements of the Zero Defect Program and report defects; ensure product compliance after rework, especially for Special Processes.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Team to ensure deliveries from the Origin site meet the right quality level.
- Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework) according to the Quality Control Plan.
- Lead customer inspections.
- Maintain the Car History Book (CHB).
- Participate in quality-related investigations.
- Record inspection results in industrial digital tools as required.
- Manage the site industrial quality team and ensure implementation of site quality processes.
- Support handover activities from the manufacturing site to the PI site.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, electronics) or equivalent.
- Expertise in managing quality and problem-solving tools.
- Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, ISO22163).
- Fluency in English and Norwegian; German is an asset.
- Experience in quality auditing and process management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
