Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our production lines running smoothly and safely in high-volume industrial bakery operations. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and essential repairs on industrial bakery machinery to ensure minimal downtime and high product quality. Pay Rate: $35.00 – $42.00 / hour

Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift | 2pm-10:30pm

salary: $72,800 - $87,000 per year shift: Second work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial bakery equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Conduct routine inspections and promptly resolve mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure all tools comply with strict OSHA and facility safety standards.
• Complete accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Strictly adhere to Food Safety guidelines, including GMP, HACCP, and allergen control protocols.
• Partner closely with Production and Quality teams to address equipment concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 4–7 years of industrial maintenance experience (food or beverage manufacturing strongly preferred).
• Technical Skills: strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting capabilities.
• Software: Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and standard office software.
• Physical & Environmental: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment exposed to heat, noise, and common food ingredients (e.g., flour, dust).

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
