About the Role Rhoads Industries is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrical to support the Maintenance Department in the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and facilities across the company's diverse lines, ensuring minimal downtime and operational efficiency. This role collaborates with safety and quality to uphold procedures and standards, including ISO 9000, ASME, and AISC requirements. What You'll Do
- Inspect, install, and repair interior and exterior wiring systems, electrical fixtures, interior and exterior lighting and other related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and offer solutions to resolve issues with lighting, power, heavy machinery systems, etc.
- Assemble new electrical components and equipment.
- Compose clear lists of materials required for completion of jobs (BOMs).
- Organize to support multiple projects and prioritize to meet required deadlines.
- Maintain clean work area in the shop.
- Provide support as required.
- Additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or associate degree in industrial mechanics, maintenance technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial/industrial electrical setting.
- Must be capable of reading, understanding, and adhering to maintenance procedures and safety standards.
