About the Role The Industrial Maintenance Relatability Tech (IMRT) reports to the Plant Engineer and is responsible for supporting plant reliability through maintenance excellence. The role uses multi-craft skills to maintain equipment, troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement to maximize equipment availability. What You'll Do
- Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures. Perform all tasks in a safe manner. Set the standard for safe behavior. Look out for your co-workers’ safety. Be an active owner of the safety improvement process by identifying and reducing safety risks and hazards in behavior, equipment, and processes.
- Proactively maintain, improve, install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam (location specific) systems/processes/equipment.
- Install/troubleshoot/maintain AC and DC drives/motors.
- Effectively perform troubleshooting activities on PLC programs. As required by location, modify and/or write PLC programs.
- Weld as required by location.
- Fabricate and install various electrical, piping, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment as required by location.
- Perform shop work using machining and shop equipment (lathes, drills, milling machines, etc) as required by location.
- Safely and effectively troubleshoot and situationally assess equipment issues/failures. Implement the most applicable, effective corrective action based on circumstances. Conduct thorough root cause analysis and follow up to ensure resolution. What We're Looking For
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills with multi-craft training.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and steam systems as applicable.
- Experience with PLCs and PLC programming (as required by location).
- Ability to weld, fabricate and install electrical, piping, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Experience with shop machining/tools (lathe, drill, mill).
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Able to work on 3rd shift (11pm-7am) and participate in training on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) for the remainder of the year. Nice to Have
- Experience with AC/DC drives/motors and industrial automation.
- Prior experience in maintenance excellence processes or similar programs. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $34.17 - $36.86 per hour.
