Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (multi-craft) Pay Rate: ($29.86 to $38.73/hr.) Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (7pm-7am)MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT Sign on Bonus: $2,000 ($1,000 after 30 days, $1,000 after 6 months) Physical Location: Lexington SC Box Facility129 Zenker Road. Lexington, SC 29072
The Job You Will Perform: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.Repairs or replaces defective parts.
