About the Role Skyworks is seeking an Industrial Engineer to drive capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and manufacturing readiness to support production demand and factory ramp requirements. The role focuses on optimizing labor productivity, machine utilization, and manufacturing efficiency, and includes developing analytical models and leading cross-functional improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will advance manufacturing automation and MES initiatives and help establish best practices across the IE organization.

What You'll Do

• Drive capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, and manufacturing readiness to support production demand and factory ramp requirements
• Lead industrial engineering studies and initiatives to optimize labor productivity, machine utilization, and manufacturing efficiency
• Develop and maintain simulation / analytical models for factory planning, scenario analysis, and decision support
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Planning, and Finance teams to evaluate CapEx requirements, cost models, and business cases
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to improve cycle time, throughput, cost, and operational performance
• Support manufacturing automation and digitalization initiatives including MES / system enhancements where applicable
• Lead cross-functional projects and drive implementation of process / system improvements with measurable business impact
• Establish and maintain IE standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization
• Mentor junior engineers / peers and contribute to development of IE team capability

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE), Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
• Industrial Engineering experience in semiconductor or other high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred; fresh graduates encouraged to apply with strong academic achievement, internships, capstone projects, or practical experience in related fields
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in IE methodologies, including work measurement, time study, cycle time analysis, WIP profiling, capacity and system modeling, factory / production simulation, and cost modeling
• Proven ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing / operational systems through data-driven approaches
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret and leverage data for decision making
• Demonstrated success in driving projects, process improvements, or cross-functional initiatives in academic, internship, or professional settings
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Technical competencies: Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, VBA), PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with MES and manufacturing automation / digitalization platforms
• Familiarity with simulation / modeling software (Arena, FlexSim, AnyLogic, Simio, or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for facility / line / equipment layout planning
• Familiarity with statistical tools (Minitab, JMP, or equivalent)
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt / Black Belt preferred)
