Industrial Electrician Technician

About the Role

As an Industrial Electrician Technician at Ball Corporation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of high-speed aluminum can manufacturing equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems including PLCs and automation controls, while adhering to NFPA 70E safety standards to minimize downtime and support continuous operational excellence. What You'll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems (24V-600V) on high-speed production equipment.

• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and automation controls (Rockwell preferred) to meet production requirements.

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics; install components (conduit, wire sizing, pulling).

• Maintain VFDs, sensors, transducers, proximity sensors, and adjust quality camera systems used for inspections.

• Use diagnostic tools and control software to diagnose issues; maintain accurate technical documentation and daily logs.

• Collaborate across shifts and functions to ensure safe, efficient operations; uphold NFPA 70E safety standards.

• Work a 12-hour rotating shift (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) on a 2-3-2 schedule; location: Millersburg, OR. What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• General Electrical Journeyman, Electrical Plant Journeyman, or Supervising Electrician license.

• Technical qualification in Electrical Technology or related field; familiar with NFPA 70E.

• Proficiency with industrial electrical systems (24V-600V), PLC programming/diagnostics (Rockwell preferred).

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting, wiring diagram interpretation, and electrical installation skills.

• AutoCAD familiarity for wiring schematics is a plus.

• Safety-minded with strong collaboration and communication. Nice to Have

• Rockwell PLC experience; experience with quality inspection cameras. Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $51.08/hr. Benefits start Day-1; eligible for annual incentive compensation.
