The Industrial Electrical Technician/Rewinder ensures the reliable operation of MATNA Foods’ electrical systems and equipment by performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and rewinding of motors and electrical components. This role is critical to minimizing downtime, supporting production efficiency, and maintaining compliance with global food manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, motors, and control panels.

Carry out rewinding of electric motors, transformers, and related equipment to restore functionality.

Install, test, and calibrate electrical components and machinery in line with engineering standards.

Monitor electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

Support preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns.

Document maintenance activities, repairs, and compliance checks accurately.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure seamless operations.

Adhere strictly to MATNA Foods’ health, safety, and food compliance policies.

Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency

Technical diploma, trade test certification, or OND in Electrical Engineering or related field.

3–5 years’ experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably within FMCG or food manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of motor rewinding, electrical installations, and troubleshooting.

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing instruments, and rewinding equipment.
