We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our dynamic team as an Industrial Contract Manufacturer Support Engineer supporting the mission of delivering innovative highest data rate, small form factor optical telecommunication r. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our manufacturing operations, working closely with our contract manufacturers to ensure the highest quality standards and efficient production processes. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization.
Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to optimize production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams, offering solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any potential issues or bottlenecks in the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain management, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to align manufacturing goals and objectives.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve manufacturing performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our manufacturing capabilities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Your skills and experience
Must-Have:
- A strong background in telecommunications, optical, industrial engineering or a related field, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Proven experience in contract manufacturing support or a similar role, demonstrating a track record of successful collaborations.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools, such as ERP systems and data analysis software.
- 4+ years of experience.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in supply chain management and logistics, with a focus on optimizing supply chain processes.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as ISO or Six Sigma.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
