About the Role The Industrial Automation Engineer will develop and maintain PLC software for end-of-line (EOL) systems at Bosch Global Software Technologies in Guadalajara. The role includes implementing and troubleshooting ACS ↔ PLC ↔ PC communications, developing LabVIEW-based test automation, configuring industrial protocols, and supporting FAT/SAT, commissioning, and ramp-up activities. You will ensure compliance with CE, UKCA, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, and IEC 61508. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain PLC software for EOL systems.
- Implement and troubleshoot ACS ↔ PLC ↔ PC communication.
- Develop and support LabVIEW-based test automation applications.
- Configure industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP).
- Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
- Prepare technical documentation and validation reports.
- Ensure compliance with CE, UKCA, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, and IEC 61508 requirements. What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years in Industrial Automation / PLC Programming
- Strong experience in Siemens TIA Portal (preferred), Allen Bradley, or Beckhoff
- Hands-on LabVIEW development and test automation
- Experience with ACS systems and machine integration
- Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols
- Safety PLC and machine safety implementation experience Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field
- Functional Safety certification is an advantage
