Job title: Indirect Commodity Specialist
About the Role Indirect Commodity Specialist will support North American sourcing activities for Professional Services and develop and execute category strategies across a broad range of services, including financial, audit, HR, legal, consulting and IT. The role focuses on supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost savings while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and budgets.
What You'll Do
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, resolve invoices, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and budgets.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for professional services across the North American region, including vendor consolidation, RFPs, pricing analyses, and direct negotiations.
- Collaborate with business function managers and global/category managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and support projects; lead presentations to Senior Directors and VPs.
- Report savings using the SPOR tool and maintain accurate savings reporting.
- Support risk mitigation by qualifying alternative suppliers and leading or partnering on sourcing program implementations aligned with Global/Regional Commodity Strategies.
- Own the indirect procurement category spend regionally and work with internal stakeholders to develop category strategies and delivery plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality services and effective supplier issue resolution.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years in purchasing, supply chain or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Skills: Basic knowledge of purchasing principles and contract negotiations; proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
- Communication: Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- SAP: SAP experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: Estimated base salary range of $96,600 - $132,900 USD per year. Eligible for a variable annual bonus based on individual objectives and Company performance.
