About the Role The Judicial Inspectorate for Correctional Services (JICS) invites unemployed youth to apply for entry-level positions as Independent Correctional Centre Visitors (ICCV). The ICCV conducts site visits, interviews inmates and DCS officials to address complaints and mandatory matters, and maintains case files and databases. What You'll Do
- Conduct regular site visits to correctional centres and report on urgent matters.
- Conduct interviews and consultations with inmates and DCS officials regarding complaints and 24 mandatory matters.
- Receive and capture all complaints/requests on the database.
- Open and maintain case files.
- Follow up on outstanding complaints.
- Submit monthly reports and provide statistical analysis of all complaints.
- Attend to enquiries.
- Carry out all reasonable instructions by the supervisor/Regional Manager. What We're Looking For
