  • Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, architects, QA/SDET, UX, platform, DevOps, and business partners to deliver outcomes, not just code.

  • Partner with Java/API, Angular/UI, and QA/SDET engineers when the same business capability spans BFF, domain APIs, UI, integrations, and batch platforms.

  • Perform peer code reviews and contribute to engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, accessibility, observability, and performance.

  • Troubleshoot production/non-production issues using logs, monitoring dashboards, traces, database analysis, and structured root-cause thinking.

  • Support modernization and reverse-engineering of using analysis, tests, documentation, and AI-assisted tools to reduce SME dependency.

  • Document technical decisions, implementation notes, runbooks, operational impacts, and knowledge-transfer artifacts for the POD.

  • Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in enterprise application environments.

  • Hands-on Java, Spring boot microservices, Design patterns, Angular.

  • Experience building or consuming REST APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.

  • Experience with Agile delivery and sprint-based planning/execution.

  • Understanding of unit/integration testing and DevSecOps practices.

  • Cloud fundamentals, with AWS exposure strongly preferred.

  • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools and review AI-generated output responsibly.
