Incident Response Analyst II

About the Role Astreya is seeking an Incident Response Analyst II responsible for end-to-end management of facilities-related incidents, from detection and triage through escalation, coordination, and documentation. The role supports 24x7 operations to ensure uptime and reliability of data center infrastructure. What You'll Do

• Investigate, acknowledge, and respond to alarms and abnormal operating conditions.
• Act as first line of defense for facility events using monitoring and automation platforms.
• Assess incident severity and operational impact; determine escalation paths.
• Coordinate incident bridges and communications during critical events.
• Serve as incident coordinators during major facility incidents.
• Maintain incident records and update ticketing systems with actions and timelines.
• Facilitate communications with site operations teams, vendors, engineering, and management.
• Conduct preliminary root cause analysis (RCA) and identify recurring issues.
• Support operational improvement initiatives and lessons learned activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, Runbooks, and Playbooks.
• Work within a 24x7 shift rotation.
• Monitor critical facility infrastructure to ensure uptime and stability (Facilities Monitoring and Alarm Operations).
• Monitor BMS, DCIM, EPMS; alarms for utility power, UPS, battery plants, generators, PDUs, cooling/HVAC, CRAC/CRA, chilled water, environmental sensors, leak detection, fire alarm/suppression.
• Identify, classify, acknowledge, evaluate criticality, and escalate alarms; track incidents through resolution.
• Document all alarm activity; maintain CCTV review and incident logs; familiarity with Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon preferred. What We're Looking For
• Experience with incident management lifecycle and facilities-related event coordination.
• Proficiency monitoring BMS, DCIM, EPMS and alarm systems; able to classify, escalate, and coordinate response.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with site operations, vendors, engineering, and management.
• Ability to perform preliminary RCA and contribute to continuous improvement; experience with SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, Runbooks, Playbooks.
• Availability for shift work, 24x7 operation; familiarity with CCTV systems (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon preferred). Nice to Have
