About the Role In-store Sales role with Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Visalia, CA, focused on delivering outstanding customer service and driving in-store and nearby sales. You will support the Outside Sales team, manage orders and product demonstrations, and help customers with questions, orders, and shipments. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service activities, including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments.
- Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store.
- Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers.
- Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs.
- Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative.
- Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing.
- Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers.
- Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma/GED.
- 1+ year(s) of Customer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- No DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten years. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $21.02 - $30.83 hourly depending on experience.
