About the Role In-store floater role supporting Linde Gas & Equipment's retail operations in Seattle, WA. This position is required to assist at other locations as needed and involves customer service, counter sales, and warehouse duties, with opportunities to support Outside Sales and promote add-on products. What You'll Do
- Assist at other locations as needed
- Provide customer service: receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges, and tracing order status or product shipments
- Serve customers through counter sales in the retail store
- Conduct warehouse duties, including moving cylinders for customers
- Provide sales support to the Outside Sales team
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate products, equipment, and programs
- Promote add-on sales of gases and high-margin hard goods accessories and conduct product demonstrations as an in-store sales representative
- Maintain customer records and files, ensuring accurate account setup and pricing
- Perform outbound calls to retail and small 'B' customers
- Sell products at minimum discount to achieve target margins and occasionally support additional locations What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma / GED
- More than one (1+) year(s) of Customer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- No DUI / DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $24.18 - $35.46 hourly
