Job title: In-Home Design Consultant
About the Role The In-Home Design Consultant plays a crucial role in providing personalized and professional consultations to homeowners, offering tailored solutions for their home improvement needs. This role involves conducting in-home consultations to understand requirements, present product options, and guide customers through the sales process to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-home window and door presentations with homeowners in the greater Vermont area
- Understand customer requirements, present Renewal by Andersen product options, and guide them through the sales process
- Measure windows & doors, analyze the home improvement project, and answer construction-related questions
- Follow up on quotes and completed jobs; manage notes on customer interactions in the CRM
- Seek referrals from customers and community contacts; track and monitor performance against quotas
- Communicate job details to team members
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Ability to think critically and solve problems
- Self-starter with motivation to succeed
- Interest in home improvement/remodeling
- Comfortable using an iPad for presenting and utilizing the company CRM
- Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and diligent follow-through
- Ability to work with leads supplied; team-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting in-home design consultations in the Vermont area (optional)
Compensation & Benefits
- Average earnings around $225,000 per year with leads supplied; base pay + commission
- Great benefits package
- Paid 4-week training (approximately $1,000–$1,200 per week)
- Flexible schedule options; 10am, 2pm, and 6pm appointments; five days a week including Saturdays
