Import/Export Compliance Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Import/Export Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the Company's global import and export compliance program.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Serve as the Company's primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all import, export, customs, and trade compliance matters. Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve trade compliance policies, procedures, internal controls, and work instructions to ensure compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Export Control Reform Act (ECRA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, OFAC sanctions, and other applicable U.S. and international trade laws. Analyze domestic and international business transactions to determine applicable import and export requirements, verify regulatory compliance, and ensure transactions satisfy corporate policies prior toshipment. Manage export licensing activities, including determining Export Control Classification Numbers, preparing and submitting license applications to the Bureau of Industry and Security, evaluating license exceptions, and maintaining all required
