About the Role Yara seeks an Import & Export Specialist to manage imports of raw materials, goods, equipment and spare parts, ensuring regulatory compliance, timely deliveries and alignment with procurement and planning. The role supports execution of import/export processes, adheres to ethics, security and environmental guidelines, and contributes to KPI monitoring. The position is based in Guadalajara, Mexico, with on-site and home-office flexibility. What You'll Do
- Support the execution of imports/exports and related processes to meet on-time commitments.
- Handle import of raw materials, goods, equipment and spare parts according to procurement/sourcing and planning.
- Follow ethics, compliance, security, safety and environmental guidelines in import processes.
- Strive for high standards, applying regulations and Yara's steering system.
- Request registrations, permits, licenses and prerequisites needed to import.
- Monitor standardized KPIs and ensure service quality.
- Communicate with stakeholders through defined channels; keep them informed about services, deliveries and entries.
- Ensure access to and use of institutional web pages.
- Create service orders in the ERP according to negotiated rates and payment terms.
- Prepare paperwork for selling/delivering according to receiver needs and applicable laws; revise paperwork for entries.
- Support customer complaints and track action plans to resolve cases; contribute to process improvements. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial or production engineering, international business, finance or another relevant field; preferably with a post-graduation course in foreign trade.
- 2 years of relevant foreign trade experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
