  • Position Summary: Implementation Consultant — subject matter expert responsible for leading PEO client implementations, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full client implementation process for new PEO clients to ensure a seamless transition to our services.

  • Understand client requirements and configure PEO solutions to meet those needs.

  • Serve as primary point of contact during implementation; address concerns, answer questions, and provide expert guidance on system configuration and best practices.

  • Provide training and guidance to drive system adoption and user proficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical or process-related issues during implementation.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Client Relations, Payroll, and other cross-functional teams.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on industry trends, workflows, complex client situations, and benefits regulations.

  • Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities in benefit implementations.

  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Marginal Functions:

  • Recommend enhancements to implementation methodologies, tools, and templates.

  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to ensure consistent implementation practices.

  • Attend webinars, seminars, and trainings.

  • Perform ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to analyze complex situations.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, data analysis, and quality-control skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, re-prioritize, and balance workloads to meet changing objectives.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure or during escalations.

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to foster cooperation.

  • Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education, certifications, or training.

  • At least 3 years of related work experience in implementation, payroll, or a related HR field.

  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, specifically PrismHR.

  • Strong understanding of payroll and HR processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Proven experience managing multiple implementation projects and meeting deadlines.

  • Knowledge of federal and state benefit-administration regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Required Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • Industry certification not required but beneficial (e.g., FPC, CPP, PHR, SHRM-CP, PMP).

  • Frequently required to sit; occasionally stand and walk; may remain stationary 75–100% of the time.

  • May occasionally move about the building to access equipment or mail; may occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.

  • Constantly communicates with team members and operates computers and standard office equipment (keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, copier).

  • Repetitive motions of wrists/hands/fingers; close vision and ability to adjust focus required.

  • Requires sustained mental concentration and moderate intensity; typical office noise levels.

  • Environmental Conditions:

  • Indoor office environment with occasional moderate noise from printers or co-workers.
