About the Role Endeavor Health is actively recruiting experienced Immediate Care nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our team. Under the direction of collaborating physicians, you will provide care in an immediate care setting, working at the top of your license to deliver timely, high-quality patient experiences. What You'll Do
- Provide care under the direction of collaborating physicians in an immediate care setting, including taking detailed histories, performing physical examinations, ordering imaging and diagnostic tests, and interpreting results.
- Instruct patients on prescribed therapies and maintain comprehensive progress notes.
- Follow patients through their course of treatment in the immediate care setting and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate; demonstrate evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice; assess learning needs of patients and families; employ teaching strategies to improve health.
- Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams; contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
- Participate in service line goals, support organizational strategic plan, and adhere to Endeavor Health policies. What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) or NCCPA-certified PA.
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department or Immediate Care experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
- APRNs: Current Illinois RN license and Illinois APRN license, Illinois controlled substances license, and DEA certification.
- Physician Assistants: IL PA license, IL controlled substances license, and DEA certification.
- Current CPR Certification (AHA or Red Cross) with in-person component.
- Willingness to travel to cover other Immediate Care sites in the geographic area.
- EPIC EMR experience is preferred. Nice to Have
- EPIC EMR experience (if not already listed) and magnet hospital experience awareness. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $56.25 - $72.12 per hour (posted range); market compensation of $65-75 per hour for full-time/part-time; $70 per hour for PRN.
