About the Role The Ignite Scholar role is a mentored pathway designed to support talented biomedical researchers who have recently completed their doctoral degree in pursuing a tenure-track faculty position at Northeast Ohio Medical University. The program offers two tracks: (1) research and (2) graduate education in biomedical science and innovation. The research track aims to provide a platform for building a robust research program through structured mentorship and institutional support. What You'll Do
- Participate in the Ignite Scholar program tracks (research or graduate education) to develop scholarly work and contribute to program goals.
- Develop and advance a scholarly program with mentorship toward a tenure-track faculty position.
- Engage in activities that support biomedical education and research at NEOMED. What We're Looking For
- Doctoral degree in a relevant biomedical discipline.
- Interest in a mentored pathway toward a tenure-track faculty position.
- Commitment to the program's two-track structure: research or graduate education in biomedical science and innovation.
