About the Role Calpine is seeking an IC&E Technician II to maintain and repair electrical equipment, instrumentation, and plant control systems. The role focuses on monitoring and maintaining the Distributed Control System (DCS) and supporting gas turbine, steam turbine control systems, generators, transformers, and switchgear. The technician will calibrate, troubleshoot, and document maintenance activities and ensure safe, compliant operations. What You'll Do
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Monitor, maintain, and repair plant DCS and related control systems.
- Maintain calibration of plant instrumentation and electrical systems; troubleshoot issues.
- Operate CMMS to plan and execute maintenance; update logs, manuals, and procedures.
