About the Role Logitech is seeking an iCafe Headset Firmware Engineer to build a dedicated, low-latency wireless connection experience for gaming headsets and to champion the localization of Logitech's cutting-edge audio algorithms in China. You will translate advanced audio extraction and intelligent noise cancellation technologies into differentiated local products using agile development practices.
What You'll Do
- Platform Adaptation & Development: Based on existing mainstream wireless audio SoC platforms, design system architecture, low-level firmware development, and code optimization.
- Frontier Algorithm Implementation & Integration: Collaborate with Logitech's global software and algorithm teams to evaluate and port audio DSP processing, spatial audio virtualization algorithms, and dynamic sound extraction technologies to local hardware.
- Low Latency & Connection Tuning: Optimize Bluetooth and 2.4G proprietary protocol communication to ensure rapid response in complex interference environments; manage multi-mode connections and battery scheduling.
What We're Looking For
- Professional Background: Extensive experience in low-level firmware development for mainstream audio SoC platforms (including cost-effective and flagship platforms); proven mass production experience with gaming headsets or low-latency peripherals.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in C/C++ and embedded RTOS; deep understanding of audio DSP processing mechanisms and spatial audio algorithms; familiarity with mainstream audio SoC solutions; mastery of Bluetooth, LE Audio, USB Audio, and 2.4G wireless low-level technologies; RF debugging.
- Soft Skills: Excellent cross-national collaboration and English communication skills; high learning agility and ability to absorb new technologies and translate them into mass-producible code.
