I9 Audit Specialist
We are looking for an I9 Audit Specialist to support HR operations for a real estate and property organization in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who brings strong knowledge of onboarding practices, compliance standards, and employee records management. The person in this role will help maintain accurate documentation, support employee relations activities, and ensure HR processes are carried out with consistency and care.
Responsibilities

Review and audit I-9 documentation to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable employment regulations.

Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring required paperwork is collected, verified, and properly documented.

Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files while safeguarding sensitive employee information.

Support HR administration by handling employee record updates, document tracking, and general process coordination.

Assist with employee relations matters by providing administrative support and helping ensure HR policies are followed consistently.

Partner with internal stakeholders to address compliance-related questions and resolve documentation gaps in a timely manner.

Process offboarding and termination paperwork while ensuring all required records are completed and retained appropriately.

Contribute to benefits-related administrative tasks, including documentation support and employee file updates as needed.

Experience in HR generalist, HR administration, or compliance-focused support roles.

Practical knowledge of onboarding procedures and employment documentation requirements, including I-9 processes.

Familiarity with HR compliance standards, policy application, and personnel file maintenance.

Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and a high level of accuracy.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple HR tasks and deadlines effectively.

Experience supporting termination processes and related documentation.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with employees and internal teams.
