About the Role
The Hybrid Medical Science Liaison (hMSL) is a field-based Medical Affairs professional supporting Theratechnologies HIV therapeutics (ibalizumab, tesamorelin, crofelemer). The role involves building and nurturing scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals, delivering compliant scientific education, and representing Theratechnologies at medical and scientific conferences. It is a hybrid position that operates both virtually and in person, in alignment with Medical Affairs strategies and US healthcare laws and regulations.
What You'll Do

Develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with designated KOLs and assigned institutions, providing proactive scientific education for in-line products, in person and virtually.

Provide timely responses to unsolicited medical information requests from medical professionals, in compliance with corporate policies and US laws; coordinate with peers to fulfill during business hours.

Foster productive relationships with KOLs and HCPs in medical education and research, aligned with National Field Medical strategy.

Collaborate with team to provide rapid responses to unsolicited requests for medical information during business hours.

Identify and communicate medical/scientific insights and trends relevant to Theratechnologies and stakeholders; document field-generated insights within appropriate systems within 48 hours.

Support medical leadership in executing aligned field strategy.

Contribute to development of medical affairs materials as needed.

Represent Theratechnologies at medical and scientific conferences; provide scientific insights and summaries to internal stakeholders.

Carry out proactive assignments per National Director; establish professional relationships with KOLs; conduct unbiased scientific interactions on relevant disease states and topics; align with company products.

What We're Looking For

Senior hMSLs: 4+ years of MSL experience with high familiarity with regulatory guidelines and industry standards related to scientific medical engagement.

hMSLs: 0–2 years of pharma/biotech or relevant clinical/practice/research background with strong communication skills and high learning agility; professional presence with KOLs despite limited experience.

Outstanding professional communication skills and a high degree of scientific and industry expertise.

Ability to operate in a hybrid/virtual field-based environment; comfortable engaging with KOLs and HCPs while adhering to corporate policies and US laws; able to document field insights in appropriate systems.

Specialized, field-oriented expertise in HIV therapeutics is a plus.
