Job title: HVAC Technician
About the Role We are seeking a skilled AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning systems across client sites. You’ll work on split, cassette, ducted, VRV, and packaged systems, ensuring high standards while complying with health, safety, and client requirements. You’ll also use smartphone tools to manage work orders, digital job cards, inspections, and reporting. Flexibility for site call-outs and standby duties is required.
What You'll Do
- Decommission old HVAC systems and dispose safely when required.
- Install, commission, and maintain new HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Conduct assessments and provide accurate reports.
- Liaise with clients to provide updates and technical advice.
- Complete daily administrative tasks using mobile technology (digital job cards, invoices, delivery notes, reports).
- Manage supplier quotations and coordinate work with contractors.
- Attend site call-outs promptly and handle ad-hoc repairs and PPM tasks.
- Provide feedback to Operations Manager, Administrator, and Clients.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly site checks as per SLAs.
- Perform standby duties and respond to emergencies.
What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 with technical subjects; HVAC background with at least 2 years’ experience.
- Trade-tested certification advantageous.
- Basic electrical knowledge relevant to HVAC systems.
- Experience on split units, cassette, ducted, VRV, and packaged systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites.
- Proficient in using smartphones and mobile apps for reporting, checklists, and work tracking.
- Strong problem-solving, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to conduct assessments and provide accurate reports.
- Good communication, client liaison, and teamwork.
- High reliability, integrity, and attention to detail.

- Trade-tested certification is advantageous.
