About the Role Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for providing top-quality service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems at client facilities. As the primary contact for technical service issues, you will ensure client satisfaction through effective troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems.
What You'll Do
- Provide top-quality service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and industrial refrigeration systems at client facilities.
- Serve as the primary contact for all technical service issues, ensuring client satisfaction through effective troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems.
- Perform commissioning of chillers (magnetic bearing, centrifugal, screw, scroll) and manage preventive maintenance activities for various model chillers.
- Maintain and operate AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, water pumps, and EC fans within HVAC systems.
- Identify and resolve critical issues with rapid decision-making and action planning.
What We're Looking For
- Strong HVAC & chiller expertise with hands-on experience on York chiller models YK, YVAA, YMC2, YZ.
- Experience commissioning chillers (Mag bearing, Centri, Screw, Scroll) with refrigerants R-22, R-134a, R407, R123, R1233ZD, R513A.
- PM experience on various chiller models.
- Knowledge of AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, water pumps, EC fans.
- Strong electrical and electronics skills: diagnosing power electronics, circuit breakers, cable sizing, PCB-level testing.
- Ability to troubleshoot motors in chillers and AHUs; understand control logic for microcontrollers and PLCs; programming/debugging microprocessor-based and PLC-based controllers.
- VSD starters: D-Drive, Vyper, Hyper, Python drives; understanding harmonic filters.
- Refrigeration system performance testing, interpretation of P–H diagrams, psychrometry.
