HVAC Service Field Supervisor

Seatown
Mukilteo, WA Posted Oct 21, 2026
Full-time

About this role

Are you an experienced HVAC technician ready to take the lead? If you enjoy helping other technicians troubleshoot, sharing what you've learned, and showing what quality work looks like, Seatown's HVAC Field Supervisor role in Mukilteo could be your next step.

This is hands-on field leadership: you'll work alongside technicians, help solve difficult service problems, and coach the team toward consistent, high-quality work. You'll partner with Service Managers and Dispatch to resolve warranty issues and turn recurring field problems into practical training. It's a chance to make an impact beyond your own service calls while staying close to the technical work you know.

What You'll Do

  • Complete daily quality assurance calls to assess workmanship, improve service quality, and help prevent repeat visits and warranty calls.

  • Verify that technicians perform thorough, consistent HVAC tune-ups and professional cleanings.

  • Coach maintenance technicians in the field, including working alongside them on warranty calls and supporting the installation department when needed.

  • Diagnose, repair, and document heating and cooling system problems, including installation and service issues.

  • Meet weekly with Service Managers to review warranty trends, identify training needs, and participate in technician training and accountability meetings.

  • Lead pre-season tune-up training ahead of membership service campaigns and develop action plans to address recurring field issues.

  • Coordinate with Dispatch to resolve warranty concerns following recent service visits and ensure customers receive clear communication and follow-through.

  • Keep tools and equipment in safe working condition, order repair parts and supplies, and maintain accurate service records and warranty documentation.

  • Participate in the year-round on-call rotation. During assigned one-week shifts, answer after-hours calls from field technicians and the answering service.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong hands-on HVAC maintenance, diagnostic, and repair experience, with the ability to explain your troubleshooting process to other technicians.

  • A coaching mindset: patience when teaching, clear and constructive feedback, and a willingness to hold yourself and others accountable for quality work.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with a focus on quality workmanship and resolving problems.

  • A collaborative approach to working with technicians, Service Managers, Dispatch, and installation teams.

  • Sound judgment, accountability, and a commitment to representing Seatown professionally.

  • The ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • A valid driver's license with minimal driving infractions.

  • Successful completion of the required pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Work Environment

This role works in customer homes and residential field settings, including outdoor areas with uneven or rough terrain. Work may involve extended exposure to heat, cold, and changing weather conditions, as well as occasional work in cramped or confined spaces.

Physical duties include standing and walking for up to eight hours per day; occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; and regularly gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead. The work requires visual attention to equipment and components and the ability to distinguish speech, equipment sounds, and alarms. Reasonable accommodations may be made to perform essential functions.
