About this role

CDL-A Local Intermodal Night Driver – Hutchins / Wilmer, TX (Home Daily)

Let’s be real for a second—there is nothing better than finishing your shift and actually sleeping in your own bed every single night. If you hold a Class A CDL and live within 30 miles of Hutchins, we have an open local night shift waiting to put you to work. Run a smooth 250-mile local radius, pull solid drop-and-hook container freight, and get your personal life back on track!

What You Will Be Pocketing:

  • Weekly Earnings: Pull in a dependable $1,000 to $1,100 gross every single week.
  • Detailed Pay Matrix: Base mileage at $0.55 CPM (scales with your experience), plus an extra $29.00 per load and $20.00 per stop.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plans, paid time off, and cash referral bonuses.

Your Schedule & The Run:

  • Home Every Day: Work a Tuesday through Saturday night shift schedule (with weekend and holiday work as needed) so you are never away from home for long.
  • The Work: Slip-seat day cabs running container chassis within a 250-mile zone. Expect mostly drop-and-hook freight with minimal live loading and unloading.

Who Qualifies:

  • A valid Class A CDL and live within 30 miles of Hutchins, TX.
  • Experience Requirements: Open to qualified trainees and experienced drivers with at least half a year of verifiable OTR background over the last 12 months.
  • Clean MVR and background check, alongside successfully cleared DOT physicals, hair tests, and urine screenings.
