Job title: Human Resources/ Recruiting Assistant
About the Role Whova is hiring a full-time Human Resources/ Recruiting Assistant responsible for talent sourcing, interview coordination, onboarding, compliance and other HR tasks. The role supports collaboration with department managers and may involve coordinating career fair attendance and improving recruiting processes.
What You'll Do
- Source candidates using a variety of channels and build a robust candidate pipeline.
- Coordinate interviews and assist with career fair attendance and events.
- Manage onboarding, compliance, and other HR tasks to support a smooth employee lifecycle.
- Collaborate with leaders in engineering, marketing, finance, and sales to meet weekly/monthly recruiting goals.
- Assist with company-wide events, office operations, vendor relations, and other administrative duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 1-2 years of working experience in recruiting and talent sourcing (preferred) or related.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-disciplined with a strong work ethic and initiative.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working towards defined recruiting goals and deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience in HR within a software company or fast-growing tech environment.
- Experience with vendor relations or event coordination.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $45,000-$46,000 USD.
