About the Role
Responsible for managing recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, staff development, performance management, and HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, job descriptions, and employment processes.
- Oversee payroll, pensions, benefits, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, welfare, health, and safety.
- Organise staff training and implement employee development procedures.
- Advise employees and line managers on employment policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Handle disciplinary matters, employee concerns, negotiations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee information and records.
Requirements
- Degree in Labour Relations or any Social Science course.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- HR certification is an advantage.
- Skills Development Facilitator and performance management experience may be advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, resolution, and employee engagement skills.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR functions/best practices.
