Job Description
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is actively seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join its esteemed team in Abuja, Nigeria.
This role is integral to supporting ECOWAS's overarching mission of fostering economic integration, promoting peace, and enhancing the quality of life for citizens across West Africa. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for open positions.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee employee relations, addressing grievances and conflicts.
- Administer performance appraisal systems and provide feedback.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain HR records and manage HR information systems.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Contribute to the development of HR strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.

Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
