Job title: Human Resources Manager
About the Role The Human Resources Manager will oversee the HR function for the New Hartford and Dunkirk sites, developing and implementing plant-wide HR policies and partnering with operations to meet business needs. The role also manages the relationship with the Union and administration of the collective bargaining agreement, and acts as an HR liaison across key areas to support workforce planning and development.
What You'll Do
- Develop and administer plant HR policies (attendance, general work rules, leaves, etc.)
- Develop and maintain HR metrics (turnover rates, time-to-fill)
- Lead human capital planning and workforce development (succession planning, workforce scorecard, retention planning, training initiatives)
- Advise and counsel management on labor issues and disputes to ensure compliance with the bargaining agreement
