About this role
A Human Resources Manager based in Lagos, Nigeria, is sought to lead and oversee HR operations for the organization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive HR experience, strong educational credentials, and professional certification to drive people strategy, compliance, and organizational effectiveness in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with local regulations
- Develop and implement HR policies and processes aligned with business objectives and industry best practices
- Supervise HR initiatives and provide guidance to managers and staff on HR matters to support talent development and organizational culture
- Oversee HRIS systems and data integrity, with a preference for experience using SeamlessHR
- Collaborate with leadership to drive workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives
- Ensure accurate reporting and analytics to inform decision-making and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- CIPM certification is mandatory
- 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industries is highly desirable
- HRIS experience, preferably with SeamlessHR
