About the Role The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of HealthTrust's HR. The position is primarily responsible to establish and maintain Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce. The HR Coordinator supports all HR functions including benefits and compensation, training and development, maintaining employee records, and manages recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Develop, revise, interpret and administer all Human Resource policies, practices and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness throughout the organization's policies and practices.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel to ensure compliance with all federal and state legal and regulatory issues that affect the Human Resources function, including managing health and safety issues; serve as the organization's investigator of discrimination and harassment complaints; ensure personnel files and HR records are maintained in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Responsible for the administration of employee relations programs to foster an environment where employees are empowered assets to the organization; advise and intervene in difficult or sensitive employee relation matters appropriately and respectfully; foster and maintain open door policy to actively promote employee interaction and communication; maintain a climate which attracts, retains, and motivates a diverse staff of top quality individuals.
  • Design the performance appraisal process and timelines with input from Executive Director; manage and oversee the implementation and operation of the performance management tools, including goal setting and train management in the use of these; work collaboratively with the Executive Director to develop and implement the organization’s succession planning and annual updates to the succession planning tool.
  • Benefits administration including open enrollment, routine employee inquiries, enrollment processes, and monthly bill reconciliation; oversee the day-to-day operation of the multiple-employer defined benefit pension plan; work with Plan actuaries to determine annual valuation; communicate pension plan notices, elections, and benefit estimates to participating employees.
  • Analyze salary survey data and benchmarks jobs forming sound, market based recommendations to the Executive Director in all areas of compensation; responsible for FLSA compliance.
  • Primary system owner of the HRIS system, ADP Workforce Now; intervene with ADP to ensure necessary functionality, monitor developments, and train employees in its use.
  • Verify employee data changes before payroll processing, review bi-weekly payroll transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Administer all leaves of absence including Short-Term Disability claims, FMLA claims and Worker's Compensation claims.
  • Manage various ongoing HR projects and programs, including pay and compensation studies, job description review, recruitment, performance management, employee development, HR analysis and planning as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Personnel Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Prior responsible work experience of at least seven years in the area of personnel or human resources administration.
  • In lieu of the above, any equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered at the discretion of HealthTrust.
  • This position is classified as salary (exempt).
  • Must be a New Hampshire resident.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state HR regulations; confidentiality and discretion; experience with ADP Workforce Now; benefits, payroll verification, and leave administration.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $71,650.00 - $93,150.00 per year.
