Job title: Human Resources Advisor

About the Role Join ANDRITZ Canada as a Human Resources Advisor supporting recruitment, career development, and training initiatives to attract, mobilize, and retain talent. You will help design career progression and training plans, execute retention strategies, and nurture partnerships with educational institutions to support sustainable technology leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to staffing processes for vacant positions according to ANDRITZ hiring rules; recommend and implement search strategies; actively headhunt; participate in salary recommendations; keep employees informed of vacancies and encourage internal mobility.
  • Develop and retain talent by contributing to career progression plans, implementing training plans for all employees in Canada, researching courses and suppliers, collating data to optimize training investments, coordinating external training and logistics, coordinating e-learning needs and new course development, and supporting retention initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with educational institutions; provide strategic intelligence on best practices; suggest innovative approaches; help develop internal and external communications strategies.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or a related field; Master's degree is an asset; minimum of three (3) years of relevant HR experience; consulting experience in recruitment, training, and employee development; knowledge of university/college environments is an asset.
  • Autonomous with strong problem-solving skills; excellent priority management and ability to meet deadlines; strong customer service and collaboration skills; strong oral and written communication skills; English-French bilingualism is required; diplomacy, empathy, discretion, and creativity; positive attitude; travel occasionally in Quebec and Canada; available for variable hours depending on training and recruitment schedules; knowledge of integrated HR systems such as SuccessFactors or Workday is an asset.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in a related field; experience with higher education partnerships; familiarity with HRIS systems like SuccessFactors or Workday.
