Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee integration.
- Develop strategies for employee retention, engagement, motivation, and career development.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts professionally.
- Establish and monitor performance management systems, KPIs, appraisals, and staff development plans.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Work closely with management and departmental heads on workforce planning and organisational development.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant staff training programs.
- Monitor attendance, leave, punctuality, staff welfare, and other employee-related matters.
- Provide management with HR reports, workforce insights, and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Promote a positive, professional, accountable, and high-performance workplace culture.
- Stay updated on HR best practices, employment regulations, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in Human Resources management.
- Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Engineering, Property Management, or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR practices, and employee relations.
- Proven experience managing recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems/tools is an advantage.
