About this role
A Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) is being sought for a hybrid role based in Obanikoro, Lagos, Nigeria. The position offers a monthly salary in the range of ₦600,000 – ₦700,000 and requires a blend of strategic and hands-on HR partnership to support business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
- Lead performance management processes, including KPI development, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, and labour law compliance.
- Identify learning and development needs while supporting leadership development initiatives.
- Champion employee engagement programs and foster a high-performance culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- CIPM certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
- Proven experience in performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Experience supporting senior management in a fast-paced business environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, technology, renewable energy, or distribution industries is highly desirable.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or HRCI certification is an added advantage.
