Job Summary

The HR/Admin Manager will be responsible for managing the company's human resources and administrative functions, ensuring effective people management, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and efficient office operations. The role will support Management in building a productive, professional, and high-performing workplace aligned with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Management:

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook provisions.
  • Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.
  • Coordinate leave, attendance, payroll inputs, employee benefits, and welfare activities.

Performance & Employee Development:

  • Coordinate the company's Performance Management System (PMS).
  • Monitor employee performance, KPIs, confirmations, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.

Recruitment & Workforce Planning:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes and ensure timely filling of vacancies.
  • Develop job descriptions, coordinate interviews, and support selection decisions.
  • Maintain talent pipelines and support workforce planning.

Administration & Office Management:

  • Oversee daily administrative operations, office facilities, supplies, assets, and company records.
  • Coordinate vendors, service providers, office maintenance, and administrative expenses.
  • Ensure a professional, organized, and productive work environment.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment requirements, and applicable labour regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Prepare periodic HR and administrative reports for Management.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

Management & Business Support:

  • Provide HR advisory support to Management and employees.
  • Support organizational development, workforce planning, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Work with consulting teams on HR-related client projects when required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant HR/Admin experience, preferably within consulting, professional services, or a structured corporate environment.
  • Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, PMS, and HR policies.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and HR compliance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems/tools.
  • Must be resident in or willing to work from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Salary

N350,000 / Month.
