- Contribute to all Alstom programs & projects in human factors/ergonomics.
- Provide domain expertise; recommend diagrams; participate in cabin and cars design, seating/footrest design, and subsystem maintenance.
- Conduct HF-related risk analyses and workload evaluations.
- Specify passenger needs in services (catering/distribution) and information (public address, video, etc.).
- Assess display screens (heuristic evaluation) and define display specifications.
- Take measurements in the tympanic area (pressure wave) and ensure maintainability and cleanability.
- Support platform, pre-projects and projects with simulations for cab visibility, workplace accessibility and reachability.
- Write reports summarizing results before SGR; provide simulations to validate performance before PGR.
- Develop and promote mock-ups for cabin and car layout definitions.
- Define and deploy processes/tools to implement simulations and assessments; draft engineering instructions and DRCL.
