Job title: Human Capital Manager
About the Role Guidehouse is seeking a Human Capital Manager with a background in human resources for cyber security and/or DoD IT. The role sits within the Defense and Security Segment - Defense, Diplomacy, & Intelligence Practice Area and serves as HR SME for the DoD CIO's Cyber Excepted Service sub-directorate. The successful candidate will advise clients, oversee project deliverables, and engage daily with client sponsors and consulting leaders to ensure engagement success.
What You'll Do
- Advise DoD CIO CES sub-directorate leaders, DoD components, HR offices, and the broader workforce on CES-related HR matters as the HR SME.
- Oversee project deliverables and ensure quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.
- Interface with the client on a daily basis to ensure engagement success, participate in day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders.
- Demonstrate experience managing teams, guiding client decisions, and producing effective reports and presentations for clients and internal executives.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on CES HR matters to DoD Component leaders and HR offices.
What We're Looking For
- Background in human resources for cyber security and/or DoD IT community.
- Experience as a people leader with teams, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Strong client-facing skills; ability to advise, facilitate, and communicate with clients and senior leaders.
- Proficiency in creating reports and presentations for customers and internal executives.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
