Job title: HUB Import/Export Gateway Specialist (m/w/d)
About the Role JAS is seeking a HUB Import/Export Gateway Specialist (m/w/d) in Frankfurt, Germany to manage air freight operations, negotiations with airlines, customer service, quality management, reporting, and administration, ensuring secure and timely delivery.
What You'll Do
- Negotiate with airlines, bookings, and handle customer complaints and transport damages
- Process air freight shipments in consolidated service via our DV system, plan and control consolidations, and handle customs clearance
- Correspond with customers, service partners, overseas organizations, and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with quality management guidelines and oversee service providers
- Create export and import reports and manage KPIs and milestones
- Prepare and review invoices for/from service providers
What We're Looking For
- Completed training/degree in forwarding and logistics or a comparable qualification, plus several years of professional experience
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, strong team spirit, and sufficient initiative and personal responsibility
- Very good German and English language skills, written and spoken
- Independent, organized, and cost-conscious work approach
- Software skills: MS Office, Dakosy; C1 proficiency is advantageous
