The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

Nearly half of our white-collar workforce comprises employees in engineering and scientific fields. How you’ll make an impact

You will support daily sales operations, project tracking, and customer inquiries, coordinate internal resources to improve responsiveness to business opportunities, maintain sales data, forecasts, and business reports, and support customer visits, business reviews, and market activities.
You will coordinate customer quotations and tendering activities, work with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to deliver accurate and competitive proposals, support commercial clarifications, contract preparation, and negotiation activities, and drive continuous improvement of quotation processes and tools.
You will serve as a key commercial contact for customers, monitor order execution, delivery coordination, and payment follow-up, support resolution of customer issues and order changes, and contribute to building strong customer relationships and improving customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal teams, support process optimization and digitalization initiatives, and identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Sales Support, Sales Operations, Commercial Management, or Quotation Management.
Experience in the power, transformer, electrical equipment, or industrial manufacturing industry is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
Customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership and execution.
Good command of written and spoken English.
