Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with local and international standards
Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions
Promote HSSE awareness and culture through training, workshops, and continuous engagement with employees
Monitor and report on HSSE performance metrics and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate HSSE requirements
Collaborate with operational teams to integrate HSSE considerations into project planning and execution

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HSSE management, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Professional certifications in HSSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001) are highly desirable
Strong knowledge of local and international HSSE regulations and best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of implementing effective safety programs and reducing workplace incidents
