Job title: HSE Plant Specialist
About the Role As an HSE Plant Specialist at Gerresheimer, you will ensure health, safety and environmental compliance across our manufacturing site, aligning with corporate responsibility guidelines and supplier expectations. You will work closely with operations, engineering and procurement to maintain a sustainable and compliant supply chain.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for the plant
- Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
- Monitor regulatory compliance and coordinate with external auditors
- Support supplier compliance programs and environmental management
- Collaborate with Operations and Purchasing to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in manufacturing/plant environment with HSE responsibilities
- Knowledge of applicable health, safety and environmental regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers and internal teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with supplier sustainability programs or corporate responsibility initiatives
- Familiarity with Gerresheimer policies and compliance programs
