About the Role Join Nutreco as an HSE Officer to own your impact on safety and culture. You will be the on-site safety, health and environment spokesperson at our Deventer production location, daily on the shop floor, directly contributing to safe, healthy and responsible work. What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety, health and environment at the Deventer production site.
- Be on the shop floor daily and collaborate with operators, supervisors and management to continuously improve safety.
- Promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and translate HSE policy into practical, visible behavior on site.
- Combine HSE expertise with coaching, leadership and continuous improvement.
- Go beyond processes and systems by actively engaging people in safe working practices.
What We're Looking For
- HBO level education with a background in Occupational Safety, Engineering or equivalent.
- MVK required; HVK and/or NEBOSH (IGC or equivalent) a plus or willingness to obtain.
- Approximately 3–5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills from shop floor to management.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, proactive and independent.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.

Nice to Have
- MVK/HVK and/or NEBOSH IGC or equivalent is a plus or willingness to obtain.
